About mobile gaming

Imagine spending 3-4 hours a day playing a game on your PC or console, everyday. How many of you can say that you have the time to do it? Now imagine having to wait 10-15 minutes for a taxi somewhere alone with nothing to do, would you use this time to play a game? Most people would answer "yes" because there isn't much else they could do with that time anyway.

Now count all of the people you know that have a PC powerful enough to play recent games, all of the people you know that own a console and add them up. Compare them to all of the people you know that own a cell phone or better yet try to find someone you know that doesn't.

I hope that now you've realized the reach and extent of this new market. Practically everyone in the developed and developing worlds owns a cell phone these days, and since they already own the hardware why shouldn't they make the most of it.

Mobile games are cheap, easy to learn, fun and addictive, easy to play for a while and then leave them and go do something else, able to help people in the same area interact through multiplayer games using bluetooth and so much more.

Why do you think phones come with pre-installed games? It's because people love to play, anytime and anywhere and game production companies know it!

Hi Alex...I just want to say that according to Intel we will soon be able to play Crysis on the bus to work!

Just imagine playing World of Warcraft, Crysis or Age of Conan on the move with no compromise in gameplay from playing the same games on a high-spec PC at home.
